It is a not for profit organisation. The company’s directors and researchers have had some 40 years experience in defence and political research, analysis, and consultancy work. Paratus Defence is independent. It alone decides what research to undertake and what activities to conduct. It owes no allegiance to any government or group of governments, nor to any political or other organisation. The company’s prime purpose is to provide authoritative facts and informed analysis of strategic issues. It stresses rigorous research with a forward-looking policy orientation and places particular emphasis on bringing new perspectives to the strategic debate.
